My husband was shipped out to the Middle East this past March. Next, I had a brain aneurysm a month later, I had to quit my job and we have no working credit cards anymore because I simply was not able to pay the bills.

Not sure how I’m going to sum this all up on the annual Christmas newsletter.  The kids are doing ok in school, relative to the circumstances.

With Christmas coming, I have a big question: From where will the money come? A few weeks ago I saw an auto title loan store on Miramar Road and thought about the Cherokee, paid for in full since 2006.  I never went to a store like that, but it at least planted a thought. Instead I searched online for “loan for my car title.” I figured it was my best collateral for now.

I found Car Title Loans in San Diego. Their’s is an online application and no credit checks – no icky stores to deal with, thank God. I completed it in 20 minutes and got the money in one day — which beats the hell out of a health insurance company.  I took only $300 – all we need for a nice dinner, some gifts for the kids and their daddy, and maybe a driving trip to Santa Barbara to see old friends.
